Sorry for so much quiet time lately--my brain is full of planning a photo shoot with some of my patterned fabric and figuring out what we're all going to wear to the wedding in Portland. Both tasks are fun, though slightly stressful considering there's no plopping M down and feeling secure she won't get into anything.

Oh yeah, and finishing up a 2011 calendar.

You could say I'm busy, but that would be an understatement.

So what do you think?

A Vintage Touch dress for Mabel {which I've been lusting after for a while now}, a mix-n-match suit for Charlie and a homemade dress for me? Will it be so cool we all need sweaters?
Are nice jeans plus a seersucker suit jacket too GQ-casual for an evening wedding in Portland? Should I pair up the plaid pants with a camel hair or corduroy jacket for something rustically Charles while dressy enough for a fantastic celebration? Oi, I'm feeling like a fashion failure!

Also I'm posting over on Modish today, won't you stop by?

i was at a thrift shop the other day and noticed that they have MANY nice men's blazers in plaid and other "menswear" patterns (i think that's what they're calling it these days...) khakis and a nice newsboy or short brimmed hat would be great on C.

for you i would go with brown leather boots, tights, a corduroy knee length skirt, a ruffly blouse and a cardigan.

for the littl'n i'd go with whatever would tie you and c together.

i'd love to be invited to a fall wedding...dressing for all these summer ones gets old!
