We've got plane tickets, a hotel and rental car reserved and now the fancy outfits are taken care of. Finally I can do something else.

Planning a family trip is hard, especially when a budget is essential**. Somewhere out of the clearance rack blue I figured it all out and stayed the course while doing it, and we'll be off to Portland {Or.} in a week and a few days!

**{Hello free lancer's income}

Travelling is one of my favorite things to do--see new cities, explore new places and {momentarily} feel like a jetsetter. For about a year I worked at the Body Shop in the airport here and I loved talking to the people that came through {Dr. Phil's assistant, I'm pointing at you}. So many places and experiences. So much excitement and newness daily.

That might be why I've been so obsessed preoccupied with getting outfits and details in order. Plus getting all fancied up is good for the self-esteem. . .

The run-down: On Hi-C: Pants from J Crew, Banana Republic outlet blazer (similar to one shown), xo elle bow tie (I gave to C last Christmas) and he'll wear his own dress shoes. On Little M: Vintage Touch dress, sweater and shoes from Target, and a pinafore similar to one shown (I found on etsy and now can't find again to credit correctly) made by me. Jacket from Ruche, a-line vintage style dress similar to one shown by Jessica Howard, fascinater similar to one shown by Lovmely, Easy Spirit shoes and OPI nail polish I've been wearing all summer.
