Last week (or was it the week before?!?) Mabel got a beautiful surprise in the mail from Paula (aka Plays with Mud)--a plate commemorating her birthday!Paula makes all sorts of beautiful personalized pottery for all sorts of beautiful occasions. She recently had a guy commission a plate for her as a creative way to propose to his lady. Can you imagine taking the last cookie, looking down and your whole life suddenly changes?
(I'm not sure the proposal had anything to do with cookies, but I've got a hankerin' for some peanut butter ones, so that's the image that sprang to mind.)

And although you can't quite understand it yet, in baby speak Mabel says, "Thank you thank you thank you, Paula!"
