What does the weekend hold in store for you?
7 months ago I pushed 9 pounds of adorable out my privies and into the world came Mabel! My biggest wish for this Mother's Day is to get to spend the day with her and the other-best-thing-to-happen-to-me, Charlie.

I remember my first Mother's Day and feeling soooo emotional about being a mother and having the holiday to celebrate. Of course, my daughter had been born in April, so I was awash in hormones, but all the same, it was a big day. Happy, Happy Mother's Day to you, and welcome to the club!

It was a wonderful day, although I was a little uncomfortable with the "Whatever you want to do, it's your day" answer I got every time I asked Charlie what he wanted to do!
It was a lot of fun, though, and so nice to have an excuse to soak up a full day of family time.
