While I've been busy napping my afternoons away (yes, still sleepy), C has been filling his time with other activities, such as cooking dinner, playing video games, and. . .building a boat!
That guy, he's not one to lead a life of boredom, that's for sure.
Saturday afternoon we took it out on a small pond to test its seals and see if it's truly seaworthy. No holes! No sinking Mr.s! No falling in!
The rest of the weekend involved a couple art projects as well as some yard time. Weed pulling, seed planting (and starting in containers for later transplant), a bit of perennial dividing, composting, and building a long stretch of raised mulch bed.
If my achy muscles are any indication, I'd say it was a successful weekend!

wow. what an endeavor.
It is (and was!), but it's so cool to see it all come together.
PS--what a fun blog you have, such great work!
How cool. My husband and I built a boat last fall, but we still need to sand and paint it. This is inspiring me to get in gear and finish our project (you can row or sail ours). It's so cute!
Oh wow, really? Do you have pictures up? I'd love to see it! And now is as good a time as any to finish it up :)
