So. . .in blogland it seems to be nearly sinful to say it, BUT is anyone out there buying "mainstream" goodies for holiday gifts?

Are you making things?

Are you having a battle with creative block?

Did you realize if you search for "peace" under items, tags, and descriptions on etsy, you'll find 571 pages of goods with the term peace used?

Love has a 10431 page result.

Not a lot to say today, just a little inspiration and a whole lotta love!

Yeah, I suppose I'm going mainstream still. I'm getting my mom and my grandparents wusthof knives becacuse I'm sick and tired of trying to use their cheapy sets that don't work. And my little sister refuses to accept anything other than some cd called "the naked brothers band' which sounds absolutely inappropriate for a 7 year old, but I guess I'm out of the loop these days.

I have been buying a bunch of handmade stuff recently, but come to think of it, I think it's all been for me! Oops!

Oh I'm totally doing the handmade thing for everyone BUT I'm also getting store bought stuff for the husband and the potsticker. They both like handmade but there are a few things I can't make like xylophones, metal trucks and super duper water filters for backwoods camping! =)
