First stop: Silk Felt Soil, and with a texture laden blog name like that, you know you're in for a treat. Every post features delicate and sophisticated wares, filled with gorgeous inspiration and a bit of art history to boot. Somehow each post is like your very first visit to Anthropologie, when you realized a little bit of feminine can really be intriguing.
Back to Oh Joy's link to the Design*Sponge guest blog, which brought me to one of the most incredible artists I have seen in a while. . .on the internet. Holy cow! Drinkabutter is an etsy artist who filled my hear with promise that art can still be original, affordable, and moving while simplistic, colorful, and intimate. $35 can get you your very own. $1000 can get me most of the ones I want. . .the entire collection. I see Christmas gifts coming out of this.
So, after all of this beauty, I'll end this post with last week's pile:
The box in the living room that seems to have vomited fabric everywhere. Creativity seems to more than counteract any organizational urges I have.
