Fantastic Jena has done it again! Check out the Modish Marketplace for a top secret Wolfie and the Sneak deal, as well as money savers galore from all of your favorite indie makers. Even if holiday season buying isn't your thing, the Marketplace is a great way to afford presents for yourself during the "healthy economy" we're all facing.
As cool as it is to get discounts from your favorite world wide web peeps, I think I could look at the colors she used in the site design all day long. Soothing and sophisticated, and just perfect for the cold days we've been experiencing.

I also got a super sweet note from Kristen at Cakehouse letting me know she'd written Wolfie and the Sneak up over on her blog. Thank you Kristen!

I think it would be more than shocking if I could ever pare down my stuff to have an understated, clean and neutral room like the one on Domino's website. It goes against the very fibers of my being, this mystery known as calm simplicity.

Hello Handmade is all over blogland these days, and the recognition is well deserved! Perhaps it's because I've been daydreaming of replacing our turquoise walls in the kitchen with navy blue chalk board paint? Maybe it's because all of the news these days seems to revolve around red and blue states. Whatever the reason, the colors are irresistible. So are these little goodies found in web world:
The wooden doll in the nautical dress from Goose Grease (the wedding cake toppers, too!); Kim Westad's Coral Ornaments (via the Poppytalk Handmade Market)--I have one of these in my studio and it's absolutely the most calming object in there; Annie Coggan's chairs via Bloesem.
