Oh boy, I've barely got my eyes open today. It's part of the weekly cycle, huh? Work all week to fit all the good stuff into 2 days so I can start the whole process all over again.

Food is continually a large part of the weekend--not only preparing it but enjoying it. Then wishing I had the energy to clean the house to invite people over to enjoy it with us. Seems I can do one or the other, but both is enough to send me over the edge. For someone who thinks about balance a lot, I sure am mystified by it.

Right now I'm forcing myself out of the kitchen and back into the studio--Renegade Chicago is in a few short weeks! I plan to have my calendars done by then, as well as a new coloring book. We have the booth assignment and we're right in between several incredible artists: KG + AB, Christine Renee, and PickalaPoopa.

After that I'll be back and starting my Habitat Steward Training, thanks to the incredible Carol Buie-Jackson. Do you remember in early April when we became a Certified Wildlife Habitat? This will be a 3 day course based on the same ideas (creating a natural, native environment).

And then. . .a vacation. As for now, I'm off to get some work done. How are you all today?

Come along! We're staying in a cheap little cabin built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s.
There'll be hiking and wine tasting!
