Watergate salad, eye candy and grandmom's cooking

Abbey Hendrickson has been mentioned quite a few times over the last few days in blogland, but the mentions are well deserved. And, well, I could look at her flickr account on repeat if it were a visual cd, drifting off into dreamland with those lines and colors. No doubt, of course, daydreaming away in this loveliest of marshmallowy green goodness, vintage Plycraft Chair from Metro Retro Furniture's eBay listings. So perfect, so wonderful, perhaps because it is a very close approximation of the color of my grandmom's Watergate Salad. Anything that conjures up the memories of my grandmom is aces in my book.

Thanks so much for mentioning me on your site! How did you know that I'm in love with that Mulhauser chair and have been trying to win one for months now?! I especially like the green color. Cheers to Grandmas' salads everywhere! :)
Best,
Abbey
