Should I apologize for all these obvious attempts to sell my work? I'm making the huge decision whether to cut back the jobby-job to 32 hours a week. Obviously I want to, but can we afford it? Can I continue my rigorous schedule and maintain balance? So many questions! But this is the newest drawing. I've printed it as a 12 1/2 x 17" poster on archival, matte photo paper and am slightly in love with it right now. *sigh*
I've got 5 to give away to the first 5 comments. . . with a stipulation!
You send me a pic of it in it's new home!

What, no comments yet?? This print is adorable!
I love the pods! I am just finishing up a gardening class and this print is perfect as a symbol of all my hard work. I love your stuff, you SHOULD drop some hours and go for it!

I'll toot your horn for you. {Hmm, that doesn't sound right.} But I'd still love to have a print!

Thanks!
Ooh, I could comply with the rules - sign me up!
It's a beautiful print. I am glad to have found your work through Decor8.
My two cents on the cutback - if you can at all do it, it certainly tips the balance scales in your favor. Good luck.
hello hello rushing in to be in the first 5

Of Course you should spread the word about your own work!! I recently faced this same dilemma regarding work. Cutting back and letting your creative practice pick up the slack is how I managed the transition and once I was forced to choose, my creative focus had the stability to keep me going. Your work and blog are lovely and I can't imagine it will be long before you are living the creative life. Cheers!
Love the colors!

Love the pods! I saw the post about you on decor8 and just had to come on over!
SO beautiful!
I have been enjoying your blog for a few months now. A ton of fun to look at and read.
I would like to write a little something about this poster on my gardening blog - lemme know if that is okay!

Love the pods! I saw the post over at decor8 and had to come on over.

This print is so charming. It reminds me of a date book I used to have with sketches by a naturalist whose name escapes me at the moment. I'm already scheming as to where I'd hang it...but drats...too late.
Ohhhh! I just read on Decor8 that you were giving away this beautiful pod print to the first 5 comments?!!?!? I guess I missed my chance :) I love your work!
Ha! I immediately went to your etsy shop and bought the Pods print before I even finished Holly's post... whoops. Totally worth paying for, however. Beautiful work.
Decor8 sent me here too. But I'm not a loser as now I have a new blog to read:-) Such a stunning print too - enjoy you lucky 5!!
Hey Tracy and anne--
send your addresses to nobiting at gmail dot com and i'll ship out your posters immediately!
Thank you ALL for your incredibly supportive comments on a tough day! What a great surprise!
I too am teeter tottering back and forth as to wether I should cut back my hours at my job, to be able to do the same thing as you. I think that you are alreay making it work! and it is inspiring to see that. Tooting your own horn is a thing that us artists kinda have to do from time to time and it is nothing to feel ashamed of. I love your work! I'm glad you tooted!! (your horn that is!!)

I came from decor8 too just like all others..just to find out why have you deleted holly's comment"
Eve"
Eve--
Holly kindly did that so that when she posted the link from decor8 there would still be 5 posters up for grabs. . . she didn't want to hog the goodies! Isn't that super sweet?
yes that was sweet of her..and thats what I thought must have been.. So who are the final winners??
Eve
oh, i'm very late i see. but i love the pods!!
