What's going on in the garden, you say? Well, the elephant ears are up, the tomatoes are snuggled in and happily growing. The favas are plumping for picking, the swiss chard is shootng up leafy and beautiful! Some mystery bulbs I didn't mark when I planted are sprouting. But most exciting of all: my lemon verbena from last year is back and beautiful! AND (drum roll please!) so are my banana trees!!!!

Oh! That sounds absolutely lovely!
Can't wait until this week is over and then no more homework (for the most part). Maybe then I can leave this dark cave we call a home and get out into the sunny garden again.
